Garlic Sautéed Salmon and Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets

  • Olive oil, as needed

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 120g asparagus, trimmed

  • ½ tsp salt

  • A pinch of black pepper

  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Infuse the Oil:
    Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add olive oil and garlic, sautéing until fragrant. Remove the garlic from the pan and set aside.

  2. Cook the Salmon:
    Place the salmon fillets in the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.

  3. Add the Asparagus:
    Add the asparagus to the pan, cover with a lid, and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes until tender.

  4. Final Seasoning:
    Return the heat to medium, add the reserved garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir-fry everything together for another minute.

  5. Serve:
    Plate the salmon and asparagus immediately. Serve with lemon wedges if desired.
