Garlic Sautéed Salmon and Asparagus
Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets
Olive oil, as needed
1 clove garlic, minced
120g asparagus, trimmed
½ tsp salt
A pinch of black pepper
Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
Infuse the Oil:
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add olive oil and garlic, sautéing until fragrant. Remove the garlic from the pan and set aside.Cook the Salmon:
Place the salmon fillets in the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.Add the Asparagus:
Add the asparagus to the pan, cover with a lid, and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes until tender.Final Seasoning:
Return the heat to medium, add the reserved garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir-fry everything together for another minute.Serve:
Plate the salmon and asparagus immediately. Serve with lemon wedges if desired.
